Diaconal Ministries at First Christian Reformed Church

Acres of Diamonds

A Christian home and program for homeless mothers with their children who want to become self sufficient.

Bethany Christian Services

Bethany places hundreds of children with adoptive families each year. The children of adoption are as individual as the birthparents who conceived them and the adoptive parents who raise them. Like all children, they grow best in loving families. Like all children, they are precious expressions of the Creator's enduring love.

Life Choices

At Life Choices, we assist women in making informed and healthy decisions about their pregnancies. We are a nonprofit organization made up of people with varying professional and personal backgrounds. We have been serving women in King County since 1983. Our team includes doctors, nurses, peer counselors and more.

Imagine NW

Imagine NW's focus is networking, communications, and resources to enable the most efficient and effective matching of Northwest needs and resources. The Imagine NW theme "... building community, one life at a time" summarizes its vision and mission.

Shoreline Christian School

The purpose of Shoreline Christian School is to provide an excellent education which will enable children to live in grateful service to Christ in all areas of life. The school performs this task in partnership with the Christian home and church. God's word, as revealed in Scripture, is the basis for such an education.

The Bible League

The Bible League is an interdenominational Christian ministry founded in 1938 to provide Scriptures for people who want them. In 90 countries. In more than 500 languages. In our 62 years of ministry, we've placed more than 570 million Scriptures.

The Luke Society

The Luke Society is an interdenominational organization of Christian health and business professionals dedicated to medical missions. We support indigenous Christian health professionals who have a vision to reach their own people. Our focus is on community health - teaching people how to prevent disease and equipping people to care for themselves, their families and their communities. Ours is a Christ-centered ministry of evangelism and discipleship. We are active in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and North, Central and South America.

Union Gospel Mission

Seattle's Union Gospel Mission was founded in 1932, in the midst of the Depression. Today, just as we did that first day in 1932, we provide hope to the hungry, homeless and hurting by meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. When these men, women and children come to the Mission, we can offer food, shelter, rehabilitation, youth programs and training programs as well as outreach to seniors, families and prisons.

CRC Disability Concerns

Everybody Belongs, Everybody Serves. Most churches are very good at helping people through short-term crises such as accidents and illnesses. But churches have more trouble dealing with someone who is not going to “get better.” The paid and volunteer staff of Disability Concerns help churches to include all of God’s people in their life and ministry so that all members know that they belong and can use their gifts fully.

Shoreline Community Care

At Shoreline Community Care, we are meeting needs and sharing hope. Our goal is to help people transition from an old lifestyle to a new relationship with Christ. We are here to help. If you are hurting and need our assistance, please contact us. If you wish to join us, please contact us for more information.
