An act of worship at our church

What are they?

Neighbors Helping Neighbors Sundays are a tradition that we started in 2008. If a month has five Sundays the last Sunday is dedicated to a special form of worship in community service. This special day begins with a time of worship in the church sanctuary. From there we go out to spend time in service with our community neighbors. And we end with a meal together.

We do this because God is challenging us to be ambassadors for Christ to our community. This is an opportunity to give back, invest, fellowship, and proclaim the Good News to our neighbors in Shoreline.

Typically we do simple and quick projects that will be a blessing to our neighboring community. Projects like window washing, yard clean up, junk removal, home cleaning, and community clean up. We will also have teams at church providing childcare, prayer support, and community meal preparation.
